I thought of something that should be added to the Ventrilo server. A private chat channel, so users can have private conversations. The way that could be set up, is in the channel creation, put the max clients to 2, so no more than 2 people would be allowed in the channel. And also, Private Chat 2 would be good to create in case the one Private Chat channel is full. We do that on my friend Blake's Ventrilo server. We have it set up like that, and it seems to work good.

i have 2 points to make to this thread.
firstly why on earth would you want to go onto a public chat forum just to then clear off and chat to people privately? the hole point of the zone, and it's ventrilo server, is that it is there for people to mix with each other. look up the meaning of the word community if your still confused.
secondly, if you still feel the need to be anti social, then you could always set up private binds. though don't ask me for help on that one because i can't be bothered to explain it.
in short, if you want to chat to people privately, then do it on other ventrilo servers.

If you want to talk privately with anyone, there are many different chat clients you can use, on your own computer. As has been said before, this is a community, and as a result the 2 person channals were considered not a good idea.
